“Winning solo against everyone in his first ever Dune game.”

“Aswin with the clutch game Naini with the winning bread as always”

DubbleG #51, hosted by Deepak, was Dune: Imperium stretched to an almost mythic six hours. The table had everything: Elle and RG serving peak accidental buddy-comedy, repeated timer breaches sailing past 7 minutes, and Naini’s other-worldly focaccia somehow competing with the actual game for attention. The Courtesans also got their moment in the spotlight, naturally. Elle’s Bene Gesserit affinity, final-round input and expressive reactions supplied plenty of table theatre. Asvin recalled a humbling moment around round five, when Harini’s combat card punctured his confidence. He had the last word, though: playing solo in his first-ever game of Dune, he defeated the veterans and claimed the Hand as Dune Champion—a remarkable debut that sets a daunting benchmark for anyone following him.
